The Village has been very lucky to have a historian living with us for so many years. The late Joan Stevenson prepared the timeline 1241-1999 and Pam McMorran has continued with it since 2000.
In 1938 A. Bernard Clarke transcribed Baptism, Marriages and Burials records between the years 1654 to 1809. These were subsequently put on disc by the late Joan Stevenson and later transferred to the computer by her son Robin Stevenson of Kairos Press. He has kindly supplied this copy for our records

In 2018 Janet handed over the archives to Iris Sayer also of Grey Crescent who continues to update them regularly. She will also be happy to show you anything you are interested in.
